HVAC Installer

Preferences: Multilingual, sheet metal work experience. Certified by one or more of the following organizations: North American Technician Excellence, Building Performance Institute, Inc., Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, or Community College or Trade School Certification.

Typical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be assigned work orders to replace existing HVAC equipment typically located on the ground, roof, or attic. Individuals must complete all installations according to the California Energy Commission’s Title-24 and manufacturer’s requirements. Individuals must be able to perform quality work under high-pressure situations; complete necessary electrical work, solder refrigerant piping, and correctly charge and start-up the unit.

General Job Requirements: Minimum two (2) years demonstrated experience performing HVAC replacement/installations and performing service calls or diagnostic services; High School Diploma, typically possesses two years of customer service experience; must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must be certified through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Must possess the ability to take initiative and accountability for quality work, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive work ethic; work with minimal supervision and be a team player. Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull 50 pounds. Must be able to work in attics and roofs, and in hot climate areas. Must maintain a good driving record, and pass required tests, including background check and drug test.

 

Appliance Installer / Weatherization Technician

Preferences: Multilingual. Certified by one or more of the following organizations: Building Performance Institute, Inc., Community College or Trade School Certification.

Job Description: The successful candidate is responsible for delivering and installing appliances / equipment and/or weatherization measures to customer homes. The Installer must verify that all measures will meet eligibility and installation requirements prior installing the measure. Additionally, the installer must verify operation and quality of all measures installed to ensure California Building Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, and Utility requirements are met. Individuals must be able to perform quality work under high-pressure situations. Must be able to utilize power tools to complete installation. He/she will utilize company vehicles and equipment to perform services and will facilitate excellent customer service by pro-actively communicating and educating the client on the services provided.

Customer Service Representative

Preferences: Multilingual, English/Spanish.

Job Description: The successful candidate is responsible for evaluating and resolving customer inquiries, issues, and problems, and ensures that appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the customer, company, and clients. The individual will provide a first level review and resolution of customer inquiries/issues that are usually general in nature. He/she is in frequent contact with field personnel to obtain information and resolve customer concerns. Must evaluate policies and procedures to verify that customers meet the eligibility requirements for the services offered; and will facilitate excellent customer service by pro-actively communicating, and educating the client on the services in order to schedule appointments for service.
